Spanish flutist Francisco Lopez born in 1986, studied in Zaragoza with Fernando Gomez and Antonio Nuez and in Gothenburg with Håvard Lysebo and Anders Jonhall.

He become his career as principal flute of the Gothenburg opera orchestra in 2012. Since this year 2019 he is the principal flute in Oslo Philharmonic and Barcelona Symphony Orchestra. He has worked as a guest solo flute in Gothenburg Symphony, Sydney Symphony, Swedish Radio, Danish Radio, Mahler chamber orchestra among others. 

He also gives often masterclasses in Spain at Conservatorio superior de Badajoz, Aragon, Granada and ESMUC.

Francisco has been awarded in many international competitions like ARD competition, Ljungrenska, Andalucía Flauta and Pedro Bote. He also writes his own music, here you can check his last work for solo flute:
