Aron Chiesa occupies the Principal Clarinet chair at the Sinfonieorchester Basel in Switzerland and held the same position at the Opera Royal de Wallonie in Liège. He has been invited to perform as Guest Principal in the Orchestra of the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, the Rotterdam Philharmonic, the Orchestre Philarmonique de Luxembourg, the Royal Flemish Philharmonic, the Orchestre Philarmonique de Liège and the Orchestra of the Teatro Verdi Salerno. He attended the Briccialdi Conservatory in Terni and continues his studies with Calofero Palermo of the RCO Amsterdam. Aron is a laureate of a number of competitions including the Ghent, Valentino Bucchi, Dmitry Ashkenazy and Czech Clarinet Art Competitions. As a soloist, he has appeared with the Brussels Philharmonic, the Lviv Philharmonic, the Russian Chamber Orchestra and the Philharmonie Baden Baden at KKL in Lucerne.
